Shrek the Musical tells the story of Shrek, an ogre who enjoys living alone in his swamp until a group of fairy-tale creatures is banished there by the evil Lord Farquaad. Determined to get his home back, Shrek agrees to rescue Princess Fiona from a dragon-guarded tower so Farquaad can marry her and become king.
