Chicago Teen Edition

Set in the roaring 1920s, Chicago: Teen Edition follows Roxie Hart, an ambitious young woman who dreams of becoming a famous performer. After she is arrested for murdering her lover, Roxie finds herself in jail alongside Velma Kelly, a celebrated vaudeville star who is also accused of murder. With the help of the smooth-talking lawyer Billy Flynn, both women try to turn their criminal cases into opportunities for fame and public sympathy.

As Roxie and Velma compete for the spotlight, the story explores how the media can shape public opinion and turn scandals into entertainment. Filled with jazz-inspired music, energetic dance numbers, and sharp humor, Chicago: Teen Edition tells a story about ambition, celebrity, and the pursuit of fame while adapting the classic musical for younger performers and audiences.
